I want to dive fully into the raw numbers of both Jadarian Price and Jonah Coleman. I see a lot of people connecting Price to #32. To be clear, I like Price. I always have. However...is it the most efficient route? Both of these players produce big yards. Is Price that much better and is he really RB #2? I think this offense wants big plays but at a consistent pace. They want to take the soul of the other team. Wear you down. Let's dive in.

Synthesis:
- Jonah Coleman: He's going to get explosives in a different way. What Coleman really brings to the table is what I'm going to coin 'chunky yards.' These are plays that net 10-15 yards. They aren't home runs. They are doubles. They can demoralize a defense. Coleman doesn't lose yards as often. You are going to have to live with the fact that Coleman's runs are going to net 4 yards or less over 50%-55% most of the time. He doesn't lose yards, he might get stuffed more than you want, and a lot of his runs are going to be 1-4 yards. The other times, he is going to get you chunky yards! This is through the ground and the air.
- Jadarian Price: Good option for the Seahawks. He produces big plays and explosive plays (10+ yards) at over 20% for the last 2 seasons. However, if he is caught behind the line, you see he tends to not escape and loses yards more often. With Price, you're going to have a better chance at those intermediate explosives (16-24 yards). Remember, Price didn't get many touches in college. He only averaged about 10 rushes a game. He also does a good job at getting those chunky yards. He does a great job at getting those meat and potato yards (5-9 yards). You just have a much better chance of him breaking a play 15 yards or more.
