It's a blitz heavy division foe FFS. You shouldn't need a half for your unit to show up. Just an absolute failure of coaching.

But they aren't the ones who gave up 34 points today. Our defense has many issues as well. A lot of it is on the coaches game plan and a in-game adjustments. But individual players screwed up big time this game.
I'm putting this loss though squarely on PC. There is absolutely no reason for this team to have loss this game. It is his loss. He is not getting thru to this team anymore.

I remember a year when the Cardinals had a worse O-line than this when we had Kolb I believe. I think we almost gave up 60 sacks that season.
How much is Cable, and how much is what he's been given to work with. The guy has been asked to make a Ferrari, on a 10k budget.

He's been tasked with making a Hyundai and is churning out Ford Pintos with the occasional Taurus Wagon

I would consider yesterday's 2nd half as close to a Ferrari as we've ever been, no? Yes it took an adjustment...a line w inexperience at every position had to make adjustments...but they made them and performed as good as they have all season. Your "Ford Taurus" metaphor works for, like, our 1992 version.

Hey! I had Ford Pinto once...take it easy...

Seasoned college guard who is big and nasty. Cable is the problem. He has no idea what he's doing. If this team had even a decent offensive line coach, we probably wouldn't even be having any of these conversations.Largent80":hs6q5q8g said:Glownski was the worst of the worst my eyes told me. Seriously were at the one and glownski dives to the right to cut block and leaves his man wide open straight to the qb?
Arizona put up 41on new Orleans the week before and I was told it didn't matter, well, yes it did matter. They could only get 34 on us but their confidence was showing.
I would like to once again see major changes on our o line.
CodeWarrior":3mpzgf7p said:The coaching is somewhat deficient. The incessant cuts aren't working yet no changes are made. Watch how often our guards throw a cut only to have the DL power through/over them. It's silly at this point. Only thing I can come up with is Cable knows his guys can't win individual matchups and he's been reduced to a cut and pray philosophy.
