Detroit might be the only team in the NFL with a worse run game than us. We can pin our ears back and rush Stafford. This is the most favorable matchup we could of wished for other than a bye.

Giants are arguably the hottest defense in the NFC while the Packers are arguably the hottest offense. Glad we won't see either until the NFC Championship should we make it.

Detroit/Atlanta is an easier path than Giants/Cowboys IMO

I would much rather play Dallas than Atlanta in the Divisional.

Falcons offense is a nightmare scenario for us without Earl.
I think Atlanta will be a nightmare scenario for anyone. They might put a 50 burger on *allas's craptastic defense.

Is Theo Riddick out for the year? He's one of those guys that are good in the screen game.
Also, the Lions pass rush doesn't seem too disruptive to me. If we play within ourselves, Saturday night should be a fun one.
Yep, Riddick was placed on the IR.

If Golden Tate hooks up with Ciara this week it could really throw Wilson off his game.

I don't know, last time this happened we won the Super Bowl.

Good point!

My nightmare came true. I just want to
There will be very little interaction between my family and friends this week. Depressing to say the least. I cannot watch the Lions beat this shell of a team. If it was the team team that beat NE, I would have confidence but right now I don't at all. It's going to be a sad day at my house no matter what the outcome(if we win, my friends and relatives will be sad). God hates me. :229031_banghead:
I really wanted Detroit to beat GB for this reason alone. CRAP!!!!

Everyone in the media goes all-in on the storyline of Stafford's finger but in last night's game against the Packers he made several very good throws - plenty of zip and accuracy.

Their TE (was it #88, begins with an E?) was an especially good target for him, it gave the Pack problems.

Thanks, so it looks like they'll be passing a lot and trying to plow forward with shorter gains from that big back Zenner. This definitely could result in a Pick 6 for us and that woudl be huge.
Prater is arguably the best kicker in the league (he has huge distance), so they're always a scoring threat.
I hope our fans get loud and proud and disrupt their calls for an audible and pass pro at the line of scrimmage.

LOL, I like that we live in a battleground state this week. I'm going to have fun wearing my Seahawks gear in public for the next five days.

I don't when we are playing like this. The last time we played Detroit, I had no fear. This year I do. I will not be anywhere near any Lions fans.

Thanks.

Eric Ebron went 6/6 for 61 last night and 8/12 for 93 against Dallas.

Ebron is a really good TE with whom Cooter uses a lot. Unlike our OC. As an athlete Graham is better but does not get used enough. Sigh.

You also gave up all hope of making the playoffs around week seven so maybe this one will work out, too.

Rec - Yds - Y/R - TD
Ebron

Graham
65 - 923 - 14.2 - 6

LHS, I would respond to that with quotes but I HATE the embed more than 4 rule here.
But, I will say that Graham's ability in the red zone is not used enough. So, yeah, the stats say he is used but I think he needs to be used more. He is a monster. Ebron is really good but he is no Jimmy. So there is that.

Hey now!! I just don't want to be around anyone that I am related to or know. Strangers I would not care about. But I am a pain in the ass to be around. Disabled and all, it really sucks for myself and the people that end up having to help me. Hence why I never to out to sports bars and the like.

The problem I see in the red zone is Wilson. It seems fairly obvious at this point, he has not progressed in that area of the field. Yes the O-line struggles mightily and we don't know how many plays are called to try and get the ball to Jimmy but Wilson has struggled to take advantage of his chances by throwing uncatchable balls.

I agree with everyone that we have a problem on offense right now but I'm not convinced that Bevell owns soul possession of it. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we replaced Bevell and Wilson's play deteriorated.

I really believe our biggest problem is a lack of a good RB. A good RB would do wonders to mask the deficiencies of our O-line. Wilson has played poorly this year. Give him a decent threat in the running game and it would take pressure of of Russ and the O-line. Without that running threat and play action Wilson has struggled.
