We had roast lamb on the WeberQ tonight, although my wife is far more fond of it than I am. I prefer beef or pork. When I was visiting the US, many people said they simply would "not eat sheep." Is lamb more popular now in the States?

I've only had a lambchop once and wasn't the biggest fan. She could have just been bad at cooking it, though.

I Know this guy owns a shop in the Lake City neighborhood. Falal salad. Pita bread. Dip. Mmm. The meat is on a pole. never had it any other way. It's kinda rich.

No
Not more popular now than then. Not by a significant amount anyway.
People have always eaten it, but no where close to beef, chicken, pork.

It may be a primary protein for some religious people.

I have found lamb and sheep(mutton) to be quite different. Sheep has a more tallowy taste compared to lamb.
I prefer lamb much more than the mutton, which was once. That was enough for sheep.
