The entire piece is based on speculation that a guy who tried to buy an NBA team wants to own a sports team. And can afford the huge pricetag. And is local.

Absolutely no tangible facts other than that.

Why are you trying to make Marvin cry?

I said this a couple months ago. The way things are going down there just gives a vibe of the Yorks bleeding off every last cent and then selling the team.

Wait, so let me get this straight. He moves the Rams to LA and sells them to York, then buys the 4-9er's and moves them to St. Louis?.....now that is pure dramatic comedy in the making. :0190l: :thirishdrinkers: :th2thumbs:

I don't see it happening anytime soon. They just got their new cashcow (stadium), even if it's only a quarter full most of those tickets have been sold, plus there is other events they make money off of. Also there is the "York ego", I don't see them admitting defeat, especially Jedthro.

They are not losing money. The Dallas Cowboys (like the Niners) have SUCKED for 20 years, and they the most valuable franchise, and the value of NFL teams doesn't go down over time, they go up and up.
