My answer to the question is No. When does the team have to make the decision on whether he goes on IR or not?

A torn pectoral and a hurt knee from a 300 pound man diving head first into it are both freak accidents. It's not really the types of injuries one thinks are typical for an injury prone player. My only concern is knees tend to keep getting injured *knock on wood*

Let me guess, the Hawks should have magically known he was gonna' have injuries this year.

Dot rinse and repeat. This is drama town, even for you Rcaido, come on.

Maybe dont resign a dude to a big contract after an injury? We should have learned w/ Adams.

Whatever you say man. Same sh** every time someone gets hurt. Stop being so damn dramatic. Suck it up.
This is football, players get hurt. Go look at Santa Clara. Kittle and McCaffrey are hurt ALL THE TIME. I guess the Niners should have "learned"
You can't predict injuries. Clearly, only some fans can. Nothing better than couch GM's.

If he's not injury-prone then he is absurdly unlucky. Also, these injuries are probably increasing his vulnerability to future injuries, and not just the freak ones.

I dont follow the 49ers but did they get hurt that year and then give a big contract right after? Also those are pro bowl players, best in their position. Nwosu is kind of a JAG.

His first year here he played every game. We then signed him to a 3 year deal and at the time it was the right thing to do. The injuries came after the contract. He played only 6 games last year and 1 so far this year. I’m scared he’s not going to ever be fully healthy again but I’m willing to give him a shot to come back and finish this year healthy but I won’t hold my breath.
