Irvin, who now works as an analyst for the NFL Network, flew into town for a sit-down today with cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner. The interview will air as part of the network’s pregame coverage on Sunday, when the Seahawks will play the Redskins at FedExField in an NFC Wild Card playoff game.
The effusive Irvin and the equally vociferous Sherman in the same room together? Now that will be, well, “It’s going to be entertaining,” as Sherman put. “I think people will be entertained by it.”

Deion was the greatest DB ever, but a finesse player. There was nothing remotely physical about his play. Sanders was a good size DB, but 4" shorter and 30 lbs lighter than Browner. Comparing Sanders to Browner or Sherman, from a physicality perspective, would be like comparing Alexander to Lynch.

It is amazing to me that the draw of Cowboys fans is so large that he remains on that channel. I'm even more amazed that I look to HIM for respite from the bias that the rest of the NFL Gameday team has against us--what with Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner and that ol' Niner Mooch on the same set!

Please PLEASE Hasselbeck, hang up the cleats and get hired by the NFL network. The whole team can be represented in the NFC West, and I know that he'll be able to get under Faulk's skin right away...heh heh! :twisted:

Uh, what? Alexander and Lynch are the same height, and Alexander weighed more than Lynch. Just goes to show, size doesn't mean much at the RB position; and Alexander was soft mentally, not for physical reasons.
