Just signed up to watch one of the practices on July 28th. Taking the grandson who is a big Seahawks fan.

In Comparison to Darrelle Revis
2011 NFL Season Total:
Total qualifying plays: 332
Failed coverages: 130
Shutdowns: 46
In Position: 156
Revis’ success rate for the season: 60.2%

Most opposing fan bases don't appreciate how good Sherman is, or they choose to focus on his talk or his drug test. It cracks me up how defensive the Revis fans get when I point out how good Sherman is.

Every single fan base out there would LOVE to have a player like Sherman, they just don't want to admit it.

Yep. Unfortunately, direct comparisons are misleading because Revis trails the #1 receiver at all times due to scheme. I'm sure Sherman would love to exclusively man up the #1, but Carroll doesn't scheme to appease Sherman's ego.

That said, I doubt very much that if Sherman did trail the #1 receiver more often, his cover rate would drop more than 20 percentage points.
