I’m sure he’ll play but how many picks will he throw now? AND, I DO NOT want Lock unless it’s to close out the game and hand the ball off.

I wonder if this is some kind of "trap" that MM is laying for Saleh to trick him into stacking the box and "Testing" Darnold and his "oblique" when Sam is actually 100%? :devilish: :devilish: :devilish:

Did not participate
LB Ernest Jones IV (illness)
T Josh Jones (knee)

Limited participation
T Charles Cross (hamstring, knee)
LB Tyrice Knight (shoulder)
CB Riq Woolen (oblique)

Full participation
TE Elijah Arroyo (knee)
TE AJ Barner (hip)
S Coby Bryant (knee)
LB DeMarcus Lawrence (Achilles)
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (not injury related/resting player)
LB Chazz Surratt (ankle)
DE Leonard Williams (not injury related/resting player)

Ernest Jones sat out with an illness. Seems like enough time for that to sort itself out.

Cross was limited today with a knee injury added to his hamstring.
Whatever “illness” Ernest has, I pray whoever is helping him keeps him Hydrated.

Should go without saying at this level, but shit does occasionally fall through the cracks.

We NEED that guy at full strength/speed.

The Injury report is pretty confusing.

I'm just going to say "Wait until Saturday and whomever plays, will play".

Straight from the Ginger's mouth :

Key phrase here : "it wasn't the day to push it"

Meaning he's being CAUTIOUS which is a wise thing so close to Saturday.

Look for him to sit this one out (or have a light limited practice) tomorrow, imo.

There is no practice tomorrow. It’s treated like a Saturday. Likely have a walk through but no actual practice.

Well that's even better. 😁

So yeah. He'll be fine.

He did the wise thing in not pushing it.

I doubt it will affect him at all by the time Saturday NIGHT comes.

This is actually better that we have the later game instead of the early one in light of this.
