Yeah, I hesitate to blame injuries for this one. The defense was trash in many areas, like the defensive line not getting any pressure on Mayfield.

The Seahawks hadn't played any decent offenses this season until the Bucs, and it was disturbing to see how the scheme works against a good offense.

I don't care how many backups you have, it's bad when a QB completes 88% of his passes. You don't even do that in practice. (Of course, Darnold was almost as good.)

I thought that they should have brought more and different pressure packages. They did have success when they blitzed.

Some good things: The run defense was generally good (but of course, Bucky Irving was out). Emmanwori was good before he got hurt again.

Refs and injuries are not the reason for the loss. Just own it already, some of you are starting to sound like whiners.

If you think I'm wrong go back in a few days and read through the comments on the game day chat.

No wonder a lot of the old timer poster are gone.

You can live in denial all you want but in a game of inches those things do make a difference. Obviously refs and injuries aren't the only reason, but they did play a big part.

When one team gets flagged for illegal man down field on an important play and the other doesn't on a very similar play(and it was easy to see it), just that right there makes a difference in a close game. When one team gets flagged for a drive killing ticky tack hold while the other team gets away with huge obvious holds on multiple big moment plays, that 100% affects the outcome.

Then what was the reason?

Flags were flying on both teams. Every teams has injuries, some more some less. "Next man up"

OMG the flags were driving me crazy. I don't care which side you were rooting for. I hate a game where there's a lot of flags.

Its league wide now. Unless you have a complete blow out refs are steering games. Soon as one team starts to pull away the laundry starts flying.

48-9. More Dline would’ve had us using JSN more while our D may have game them one more FG due to them getting the ball back at last once more.

El Fine. The End.
