I can't see the tweet above so I apologize if I'm posting the same news. The score is reporting it will be several weeks possibly with a high ankle sprain.

Says the same as you. It is sometimes a good thing for those that cant read tweets that someone reposts it as text.

Ifedi is still an injured? Oh man. We are waste to draft him for 1st round. We should pass on him. That's suck. :(

Panic much?

Dude. He is injured because he is too weak or bust if he is still injured. It is clear. It is my opinion. Hope he should get health too quick. Let's pray for him.

BuzZ is that you? :327321_Spy_23.22:

Yep, not good news, but man just looking back at 2013, can anybody we throw in there be any worse than McQuiston was? I suppose, but they would have to be REALLY bad. Just trying to think positive here.

Pretty bummed, obviously, but Webb should be decently competent.

The real problem emerges if anyone else on the line happens to get hurt, particularly a tackle.

Some of you are tripping. Our O-line has been garbage for years now. We don't have a over the hill injury prone statue standing in the pocket like Arizona/Dallas etc. Elite O-line isn't needed. With the money we have tied up in other superstars we will never have an elite O-line either. Ifedi although good is still just a rookie. There won't be much of a drop off between him and Webb. As a Tackle Webb has issues with speed rushers on the outside. But as a guard I believe his power and sheer size will do wonders for our running game.

That was my error. I edited the mistake and fixed the problem.

You have to think at this point the game plan is already installed.

It's not like Bevell can really change much at this point. It's not how it works.

Do we know yet that Webb is playing guard. Last report I heard was Britt moving to RG and Hunt at C.

You're right, it has been garbage..........and it's one of the main reason's we struggle horribly against elite D-line's and front 7's.....and lose those games.

The Rams are a mediocre team that we have no business losing to. But the reason they give us fits and beat us twice last year is because their front seven works our O-line over like a $2 hooker and makes it impossible for Russell to get anything going.

So no, losing Ifedi isn't the end of the season. BUT we are literally one play away from starting rookie lineman like Fant who shouldn't even see the field all year. THAT'S scary as hell to me.

From the Seattle Times:

--
One option is veteran J’Marcus Webb, signed as a free agent in the off-season. Webb started 13 games at guard for the Raiders last season and has Tweeted twice since last night appearing to hint he will be taking over at that spot.

Putting Hunt at center and mlving Britt to RG should be fine and straight up replacing Ifedi with Webb shouldn't cause any major problems either.

Still hope he can come back soon though.

Kapadia is saying that Ifedi is going to miss at least three weaks. Line with Ifedi in there is definitely an upgrade from last year's line but I think they should be fine with Webb in there as a guard. I am more excited about Britt's development as a center. If he keeps this up then he might end up being a dominant center in this league (big if though).

If the run game isn't working early then Bevell should call some quick pass plays to get the offense going.
