That this team was going to the sb this year i wouldn't have believed it. I tought here we go again with a patch job at qb coming off multiple bad endings on other teams then playing against the Rams and Niners who i thought were better. I thought 11-6 and a wild card maybe. Maybe 1 playoff win but not expecting much. What this team did this year was special and I never saw it coming unlike 2013 and 2014. I am beyond taken back how they pulled this out. 1 more to go....

I remember when we signed Sam Darnold, and my first reaction was, we better fix this offensive line once and for all, or we are in for a very long season.

I figured our defense would be very good, but there were so many question marks on offense. Then, in preseason, watching us run the football so well, I became optimistic that we could win 10-11 games and be in the playoff mix. But, NEVER did I think we'd be here, no way.

I really think the turning point of the season happened with the Rams loss in LA. I thought that would be a "measuring stick" game and it would show us what this team was really made of. Not only did we measure up, we were the better team that day. Despite the four turnovers from Sam, and settling for all those field goals, we still had a chance to win at the buzzer. If there was such a thing as a good loss, that was it, and I told anyone who'd listen that I truly believed, right then and there, that we could run the table.

We haven't lost since, and we're not losing in two weeks. Second Lombardi trophy win incoming.

I thought 10 wins and then when we ran all over the Chiefs in preseason my expectations jumped up a bit.
Funny thing was we couldn't run at all for most of the year. Darnold was much better than I thought he would be. He deserves a ton of credit.

When I asked my friend what he thought about Sam Darnold, and he said he throws a dart and it was a great pickup for us. I was all in. I did not expect us to the dance but now we are in. My friend is the radio host of the Niners and Darnold was there for a year. glad for the ride. Lets finish the rodeo.

I predicted wildcard and loss in divisional round. Honestly,I would've been happy with that knowing my team was improving haha.

But then (only later in the season) I said to myself " this IS the window,
a relatively cheap QB, bunch of vicious bastards on rookie deals . Then when Mr Schneider acquired
Shaheed and removed any doubt .

Not gonna lie. I had pretty high hopes for this team post draft. Was starting to feel fairly certain they could do it in late October. Once they came back and beat the rams I just knew. This team has peaked at the exact right time.
