Omicron is a mild cold. So stupid we are still acting like this is any more dangerous than the flu. All the data coming in about omicron shows it vastly less deadly than pneumonia, yet we treat it like it's ebola.

There has been a 288% increase in oxygen use in South Africa. This follows the uptick in hospitalizations. There has been some poor reporting thus far about the severity.

The bottom line is if hospitals can’t handle the load of people coming through the door there is a much greater chance of significant complications. Emergency medical staff are already overworked and overwhelmed. But you’ve got this figured out right?

Curious where you get this data other than news sources? Pretty easy to find this data without any political side bias.

When 47 new patients in 2 weeks for the largest hospital in the country is now "staggering" we are going to be screwed for the foreseeable future since those with the same 100 year constant killers still hitting just as hard.
