I think all lifelong Seahawks fans are like this as well.

Rookie.

When we put the crap down on them last year they didn't have Justin Smith, which kind of negated Aldon Smith. Given our problems with our line and facing one of the best fronts in the NFL... I just don't want to see Wilson scrambling for his life all game while Beast mode is getting bottled up.
I really, really, really want this game. I couldn't stand the smug that would come from my 49er's friends.

But in reality, it's not going to define the season, any more than the victory did last year. This game is just too early to predict anything. If we do lose, we'll have to suffer 'overrated' barbs from other fans and from some knucklehead pundits. But you know as well as I do, if we win, those same people will conjure reasons why it didn't mean anything. It's important in our quest to host a playoff game, but a loss doesn't preclude that either. I don't expect any of us really regard the Arizona loss or even the St. Louis loss as diminishing how we felt about last season. It was all about the finish.
The game in SF is going to be the real important game. By that week, we should be neck and neck heading down to the wire. This is merely the prelude.

All due respect. I don't give a day's ass what "they" will say. I am concerned about HFA and I believe our margin of error on the season in slimmer than their's is.
We need this game and the one in SFO, IMO .

The Legion of Boom was built by PC, himself a former NFL defensive back, specifically to defend against big strong receivers like the ones in our division and specifically SF.Tical21":5u0oj1td said:A sweeping calm has come over me the past few days.
