I just find it funny someone trying to push something contrary to what everyone can see happened and then trying tell me what my point was when it was explicitly clear from the 2 line post I made. I guess not everyone can handle the truth.

You mean you can't accept someone having an opinion different than yours? Take a step back and let someone disagree with you

Great point. We'll never know what he would have done if he had all kinds of time to throw. I'm glad we didn't have to find out. Cliff brought the heat that play!

He was set in his throwing motion before the pressure. He was going there with or without Davis in his lap. Horrible decision as that is an interception more often than not and an incompletion if it isn't tipped. No chance of getting that ball to Crabtree in bounds IMO.

Ball underthrown.

Sorry boss but can't the same thing be said the other direction? Telling me what my point was and making it into some joke that someone disagrees? Not trying to get torn up over it just find it silly that we can't just take something at face value.

Cliff eats an extra bowl of Wheaties before he plays Davis. Those two don't like each other at all. It goes back to his Detroit days when Davis used to talk shiznit after games. Cool to see the Cliff getting the last word in this season. Can't stand Davis ever since he tried to rag doll Lane in the end zone. He justified that as 'doing his job' which doesn't reflect well on his coaches.

Okay April got heat on Kaep. What's understated is Smith hustled and made a GREAT interception then secured it in the end zone for the win. Sherm made an all pro play against Kaep and Crabs who wanted the game winner against Sherm to show him up. That's what great players want. Sherm was smart enough and team enough to bat it back to Smith BUT Sherm wasn't smart enough to let Malcom Smith take the credit he deserves. Without Smiths Hustle it becomes 2nd and 10 with 49ers likely going to NJ. We really are all we got and we really need all we have.

Base it on 19 games of Kaep doing the exact same thing this season. It is like some of you have never seem Kaepernick play before.

Agree completely, and though I think 'I'll take that matchup all day' is fluff, having watched way too many Kaepernick games and press conferences, the response about having decided to target Crabtree pre-snap seemed pretty genuine.

TBH as a Niners fan now a few days after the loss, I am not upset with that throw. Granted we had a few other open options, and I didnt think he needed to take a deep shot yet, but I like the idea of going after the Hawks best player 1on1. Let the better man win. Sherman won this one. Simple as that.

Avril did destroy Davis, but Kap was going there period. He had that throw off well in time.

Kaep said he was throwing there regardless. Made his mind up presnap.

Also... he only looks at one receiver so it was going there most definitely.

Found this posted at Webzone. Explains exactly why we know that Kaep's throw was a presnap read and he was going there regardless of what happened on the play:

What does "AR" mean?

Term coined a while back where plays are called in by Roman and company (5 others) and signed off by Harbaugh into CK. AR stands for Annointed Receiver. This AR is pre-determined "pre snap." There are two types...AR1 is where the non-AR's run "decoy" routes clearing space for the AR. AR2's are when the non-AR's physically "rub" or literally, "block" out defenders creating a sure path for the AR. It's essentially, a college-like offense leaving added focus on "execution" by all to help make the play work. It requires NO breaks in the chain or the entire play blows up. It's nice when the design works and it limits the focus for a young QB on one read only. But the downside is what we just saw (aside from lack of QB development in progression reads). If the defense is smart they can figure out the AR by the routes of the non-AR's (Green Bay INT) or hone in on the primary AR's (like Boldin/VD most of the year or in this case, Crabtree in the RZ where Seattle had underneath and deep coverage).
