How did he look? I missed almost the whole game because I worked last night.

His technique was usually textbook. His head was a little slow, but that's to be expected. His physical traits were average, but he's young. Change out the S&C staff, push him hard, and we may have something in a year or two. For now, you couldn't ask for better from a backup in his 1st NFL start.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
He had a snap early in the game where I was keyed in on him and he kinda clumsily fell down while going to engage and I thought "Oh brother 🙄, this is gonna be a LONG game.". He then redeemed himself on a K9 handoff and created a gap that you could drive a Deuce and a Quarter thru! As has been said, the rook definitely managed fairly well, and we have shonuff seen far worse this season.

Ups and downs. Got pantsed a few times but had a few very nice run blocks and overall held up better than I would've expected.

He didn't look like he belonged on an NFL field in the preseason and didn't look remotely draftable to me on college tape.

It's only one game, but they might have a gem on their hands.

His holds were TEXTBOOK. I don't think he got called at all and he held like a bitch all game!
Yep. I said the same thing in the GameDay forum. He was perfect at getting squared up, close in, and latching on inside - exactly how he was taught. That part of his game was impressive, and he did it a lot.
