Holani has been a good role player/fill in back, and I think he does well on special teams as well.

Okada is practically a starter. He filled in for injury all season and did well.

Both are good investments IMO.

Holoni never really got started as a RB but he has been good on Special Teams and a emergency Kick Returner. Having Charbs and Walker in front of him limits touches.

I don’t think anyone is surprised by these moves. Okada was a baller and Holani played decent coming off injury to fill in for Charbs.

I'm a little surprised they tendered Holani only having 22 carries for 73 yards & 1 TD in 25'.
Seems like he's slated for the #3 RB early without any competition unless they want to eat that 1M. I would love to see Holani outplay his old Boise State buddy the #6 overall pick, the Raiders Ashton Jeanty.

We're kinda thin at RB considering K9 isn't on the team right now and charbs may not be back until mid 2026. Holani is also a good ST player.

With Charbs out injured, I guess he is. Seems unlikely he will be come August, but who knows?
McIntosh, when healthy, was ahead of Holani before he was injured and probably ready week 1. I think his potential is big, if he could stay off IR. Then Wright.

Yep, that’s not the group we will field day 1.
