Two years ago, my Field Gulls account got suspended (until I agreed to check a box stating that I understand not to go onto enemy sites and get overly insulting) because I wrote that people shit on the sidewalks in San Francisco. I live across the Bay. People shit on the sidewalks in San Francisco.

Long story short, my Field Gulls account is still suspended.

You didn’t get banned, you got your privileges to post suspended for a couple weeks.

It wasn’t for making fun of a jersey, it was for telling a staff member to GTFO after being reminded to stay in your lane.
I’m going to suggest that if you have further comments or questions about the situation you do so via PM to any or all of the Mods/Admins.
Banning anyone is a last resort BUT it is certainly always on the table.

Some things on the back end change from time to time without our knowledge, it is a possibility.
“Membership” used to be the only requirement.
Please send a PM (start conversation) with the Admins/Mods.
If you don’t get a response in the next day or two.

Want to add this based on a Mod/Admin conversation behind the scenes.

Regular Seahawk fan members should keep in mind, we have a report feature that functions well.
Please use it in the case of opposing fans that seem to be pushing boundaries, trolling, derailing threads etc.

You certainly have the right to protect our turf, but you still have guidelines to follow.

Please don’t take the bait and get yourself in a bind.

We can always move threads to the shack where you can speak your mind freely.
You can always head there yourself for call outs.

I run a game day chat for the Rams, and we have fans of the Cards, Niners and Hawks visiting our chat.

I consider this a fun thing, as opposing fans like to chat with us during the game. But, it is a Rams fan home.

YES: you are correct, Pmed, the most important thing is to remember whose turf you are on. This here is the Hawks fan home.

Protect it. other fans can enjoy it, but, it is first and foremost a Hawk fan home.

Understood, though I did say GTFOH (not GTFO) like any east coaster says when they think something is whack. Not sure why that would be so offensive to someone.

If the F is the issue I'll make sure to keep that in the Shack going forward. Though it could just imply FLOCK.

Actually, the real issue was discussing staff actions in the forums. We welcome feedback and are also happy to answer questions, but as pmedic said, keep it to PM. Talking about it in the forum is against the rules.
