Agree. We play a 17 game regular season schedule and are already more than halfway through it. So extrapolating for a final record produces an unverifiable gap and it is that unverifiable gap that determines our future for this campaign. Every single game is insanely huge from here on out. 7 to go. What will our W/L record be in those 7 games?

I understand the moderators concern, but I wonder if it is really warranted? Is this warning made out of an abundance of caution, or are problems actually surfacing? I ask because I remember how horrible it was a couple of years ago, and I don’t see anything like that happening now. It doesn’t mean it isn’t happening, just that I may not see it.

It most certainly is, because we don’t want it to get “horrible” again, and I’d rather offer an occasional reminder than swing the ban hammer.
