Those were some goofy days from a playing perspective and perhaps we've never had more silly fun watching the Seahawks as we did back then.
Then the franchise got better and the fun came in the form of winning expectations which overall is better, but will always remember those early days with the fondness of a young, wide-eyed kid who got a chance to watch NFL football up close.
Jim Zorn was and remains a class act.
As a left hander, I absolutely idolized Zorn. My mom bought me a cheap ass Fred Meyer Zorn jersey that I slept in and used to get in trouble at school for wearing over my uniform.
Probably typical for just about every kid growing up in the NW in the 70's.........we all ran around with our friends pretending to be Zorn to Largent throwing footballs.
