For more than half on dot net, it's not too soon but too late, like years too late.

Why do you only have defensive guys on the poll?

Daboll would be nice. Maybe Kellen Moore if he's not just waiting for the Cowboys HC job to open back up.

Oh, just because I'm assuming we're dumping Pete and Norton jr. and Keeping Waldron and JS, so need a D minded coach that will let the Offense do it's thing... was the thought?

Kellen Moore would be a great grab, weakens the Cowboys, brings Northwest guy home, Young and knows about winning and is from the Peterson tree. Would be able to sync with Wilson pretty easy I would think also.

It sure would be interesting to see Harbaugh come to Seattle. I can't stand the guy but he had success in San Fran. His teams were built tough. Those games vs the 9ers were brutal. I was just happy if we came out of them healthy. A win was a bonus.

Please no. Objectively, he's a decent coach, but as a Seahawks and Buckeyes fan, I've been conditioned to hate him for more than a decade. It would be tough to turn that around, although I hated Pete at USC and eventually came around on him.

Vance Joseph---D- coordinator for the AZ Cardinals--16 years of NFL experience mostly defense . 49 years old and knows the division quite well .He would probably be ' hands off ' the offensive side of the ball too , which would be a nice touch for a change . His D is ranked at #5 right now .

Oh there's one I missed, I had no idea he was a candidate, I don't get the impression he's in any kind of hurry, from what I read he's going to be picky about the next role he takes.

Picky? He's freaking Vance Joseph not Don Shula. The guy has already failed once as a head coach not sure he'd be at the top of my list.

Call me crazy, but if Darrell Bevell and Schottenheimer look good in Jacksonville but don't get retained... Hmm..

I thought the same thing. Bevell's been picked as an interim HC twice for failing teams, and has seemed to manage the HC role better than the OC.

Vance and Todd Bowles are both killing it as coordinators, but wow both were bad in their last HC stint. Granted, several great coaches underwhelmed in their previous HC job, including Carroll. Hard to tell whether they're just not cut out for a bigger role, or if the situation they were in was basically a no-win for whatever reason.

No doubt. We've seen it over and over again. Some guys are just better as coordinators, and that's fine. Many are just not head coaching material.

Eric Bieniemy. Offensive minded and will hold Russ accountable.
