All week 17 games have been assigned their time slots. We play Sunday in the early slot on CBS

Depending on how things play out between now and next week our game against the Niners could be the SNF regular season finale

We need to take the Panthers game on like a playoff game, Panthers have beat the Packers, Rams, and now Bucs.
This IS a Playoff game because the 1 seed is at stake (even if a win doesn't immediately win it for the Hawks).

MacDonald is going to have everyone ready to kick some Panther ass next week.

Been discussing this with @mikeak in the gameday forum. With the Panthers win and a presumptive Bucs win over the Dolphins then they’d Panthers need to win in week 18 vs the Bucs no matter what happens against us.

Panthers are fighting for their division. Hawks are fighting for the #1 seed. Both have huge reasons to leave it all on the field.

Early game on the East Coast is no gimme. Carolina is pretty solid at home. Tough game. I will be bourbon shopping this week!

Panthers are certainly better at this point than they were earlier in the season.

But the Seahawks should still beat them.

I imagine the defense will be looking to bounce back from a not-so-good effort (at least early on in the Rams game) with a far more complete game effort this time.

Also, the offense will be looking to be better (and I think they will) against this Panthers D that ISN'T a Shula defense that confuses Darnold.

I thought the same but the only way our game matters to the Panthers division hopes is if the Bucs lose to the Dolphins and I don’t see that happening. Since both games are simultaneously playing it makes it impossible to know the outcome of that game before ours.

I agree Carolina will play hard, but I do have to add that the Hawks have been pretty much unbeatable in early east coast games the last few seasons including 4-0 this season (Pit, Jax, Ten, Atlanta). there is no time slot that the Hawks have more success in than early East coast games.

I am concerned about the Panthers game it has the makings of a trap game coming after an emotional win over the Rams
They are a team in 1st place who already beat the Rams. This doesn't come close to qualifying as a trap game. This is a good battle between two division leaders. A battle that could be repeated in the playoffs.
Yeah. I mean you two know what the actual "Trap game" for the Hawks was?

The COLTS game where they obviously were looking ahead to the Rams game....

.....AND STILL WON.

Panthers, to me, as improved as they've gotten from earlier in the season (congrats to them being the Division leaders), they are still in that tier of teams (earlier in the season) that the Hawks should (and will) beat.

Some here say it will be a tough game.

But for my part, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this game will end up being far more easy of a game for the Hawks than the Rams game. :sneaky:

I have not tried it yet. Is it good?

There’s a small distillery in Walla Walla called Cedar Rain. They make a cinnamon vodka, similar to Fireball but very clean and without the sticky syrup mouth feel. Great flavor.

I like to mix the Cedar Rain Cinnamon Vodka with Ryan’s Apple Cider. Goes down quickly!

I see it playing out like the Colts 9ers game tonight. They won't break 20+ points, tho.
