I know I know I shouldn't do this but I will (sue me for feeling good).

I just re-watched the highlight where Lynch to it around to the right and scored on a decent run. During the run you can see RW coming in FAST and blocking ahead of him to get him that extra push to the endzone. It reminded me of the Beast Mode play during the playoff game against the Saints. Only in that game Hass was running behind trying to keep up and putting a block in.

Now I love the fact that both were there to give after the run which is why I love both but RW just seems sooo much more athletic than Hass. I am begining to think RW will be our best franchise quarterback as long as he is healthy.

This in no way diminished my love for Hass. He was the man and took us to our only bowl appearance. But do you think he would have us any better than a .500 season with this current club?

The block wan't the point. The fact that he was screaming down and in front of Lynch was the point I was going for. Both Hass and RW went for it but Russ was in front of it. Yeah it was weak. I don't think Lynch really need him to do it butt that wasn't the point. I am sure RW is already studying the film on that block and will be working on it before the next game:)

It was enough to move him off balance by about half a yard.
Which was enough to give Lynch space to score the TD

Agreed. It would be cool to see him lay some wood but I would rather have him healthy.

I was saying the same about Wilson. Just like Matt he is willing to do whatever it takes to win and the willingness to block down field is a true show of leadership. If he is willing to do that, how do you think it affects the mind set of the rest of the team?

As for the question of Matt not getting this team to even 500? Really? Gotta love Wilson but you should acknowledge how good the team supporting him is. This team is good enough to carry a bad QB to 500. Any good QB would thrive on this team. We might not have lost games early with an established QB. Not that it is Wilson's fault we played so concervative early but an established QB likely allows us to open up the offense from game one.

Love Wilson but i love this team also.

Hass was great for the offense we had. Our O-line was much better then. A large part (not the only reason) of why we are successful now on offense is because Russ is extending the play and making opportunities. Matt wasn't as athletic as RW.

I know I shouldn't have made the comparison but I couldn't resist. Not really trying to ruffle any feathers more than I am trying to be happy with who we have right now.

I love this team as well but I have never been more excited than now. I have been behind this team for 36 years. This is a great time for us.

I think they both are great leaders on the field. I liked the way Hass could get to the line and see what adjustments should be made and called the right audible very frequently. I remember a play in the 2005 playoff game against Washington, he was flushed to his left and pointed Joe Jerevicous(sp) to head down the sideline and he hit him. I was sad to see Hass go, he was just so abused his last 3 years. We have now a continuation of Hasselbeck'sknowledge and leadership and skill. I have retired my Mirer and Haselbeck jerseys. Would love to have My Dangeruss for awhile. Go Hawks!

Wilson absolutely gave the last block Marshawn needed to get into the endzone. Wilson meets the defender at the 6 and pushes him/creates a free lane to the 3. And we know Marshawn is not getting stopped from the 3.
