I was in bits. Physically, due to intense pain in my leg, I've just returned from 5 hours in A&E with the verdict being I have torn ligaments without knowing it so its crutches +painkillers for me (not from watching the game)! I had to find a semi-standing position that was not excruciating before the final play in case I jolted and caused real pain but what joy. The fact I then had to lie on my kitchen floor for a long time unable to move didn't matter! They were 2nd best team but they hung in there, and fought. I'll take that in my team. 2 games to go. LFG
I really hope you feel better.

This was the closest I felt emotionally watching a Seahawks game to the 2014 NFCCG. The pendulum of emotion was nearly too much to handle. The mood swings were real.

Amazing effort when it mattered most from the entire team. Hopefully this jumpstarts Darnolds confidence moving into January where he needs to play like he’s never played before in the toughest of conditions. It was a wake up call for MM and the D. The D is not as invincible as a lot of us thought coming into this one, and they are gonna have to be sharp and ready come playoffs.

Next in the agenda, win out. We HAVE to beat the f**kin 49ers in their house week 18. I hate the 49ers even more than I hate the Rams. That’s all I ask Santa for Christmas.
Speaking of confidence, can you imagine how good Darnold & company must have felt when MM held up two fingers, showing how much confidence he had in his team to pull off the two point conversion to win?

That's been discussed in other threads. It really was the only call that made sense. If they missed, there was still 3 minutes left for a miracle. They made it, so game over.

Same here for the emotions.

Seems like it's been almost a full decade since you had like a 'magic' feeling in the air. Like for the past decade the Ernest Jones almost interception seals our fate and we just fall flat and lose. A decade of almost moments and near comebacks but the hope always gets extinguished with no great moments of triumph.

Last night felt like a spark that could just set off a wildfire.

if they missed it the game is over, no? Both teams had a chance to possess the ball and Rams had 1 more point than us

Eventually you gotta get the monkey off your back and make a play on the big stage. This was a confidence test from Kubiak (and MM) and Sam delivered.

I am really hoping that this huge win on the biggest of regular season stages finally buries all the “ghosts” and he can go out there and sling it with confidence like we saw the first 10 weeks of the season. The next two games are against HUNGRY teams looking to win their divisions. It’s going to be a battle. Sam has to continue this momentum from that 4th quarter into at least the next 3 games.
