You’re spoiled brats, frankly. We have a good team. We’re still good and growing. We win next week and we’re right in it. Negativity = Seahawks.net
I don't think this conversation is so much about straight up wining and losing. It's the way they are winning and losing. It's the philosophy and the coaching / leadership that results from that philosophy.

At this point even a win feels like fool's gold. Like we've been tricked into buying something that isnt really what it appears to be in the emotional moment of the win and something that ends up not holding value and lasting.

This season the wins have given us a mirage of hope and when we try to dive all in it disappears and we are left banging our heads on the bottom of an empty swimming pool.

Or at least that's how it feels watching this current version of the Seahawks.

right, every win only means a worse draft pick for no good reason

BFD… that’s what Pete will say. We shouldn’t have lost. It is a big deal. We are not growing. We are regressing. Is geno improving? Is riq woolen improving? How about the pass blocking. How about the pass rush and play calling is that improving. Get real. We are not a division winner or a wild card we are a punching bag for mediocre teams to rebound off of
It’s not a big deal. Where was this team going this year? I’ve said repeatedly this isn’t an Owl team. Anyone that thought that is insane. I see progress and growth. You can see what you want and like. Be miserable at the same time.

130 yards of undisciplined penalties and consistently poor play calling and coaching decisions does not show me improvement. It looks like legitimate decline.

I appreciate this post. It’s honest and forthright. What were your expectations for this team though?

Next week? I am seeing a sample of 10 years, 10 YEARS, of the same stuff. And there is only one common denominator.

Sure one loss isn’t a big deal but this team is done
Again, they aren’t. Win on Thursday and we’re right in it for the division and playoffs. Take the eyore approach if that makes you feel better. I don’t live my life that way, regardless of what has happened in my life.

Go talk with Steeler fans…they feel the same. Yet, winning records every single year than an abbreviation.

Watching the Giants beat Wash handily on the road didn’t help me today either. Took a walk off FG for us to beat them at home.

Why is everything so damn difficult for us?

Because the culture is do the minimum necessary. This works when you have a loaded team. But when you have holes, the minimum necessary is not enough.

At least improvement. None of those things are improvements over last season or even recent seasons. They are become trends that define the team.

The Seahawks just got swept by a sub .500 divisional opponent that they swept last year Again - that's not indicating improvement to me.

Or game to game improvements…. First series great, rest of first half falling off, second half watch it slip away, end of the game, try to salvage a win. Press conference talk about what was good about the slow painful death.. I mean loss

Name the teams that won a SB in the last 10 years? We were grateful once for getting a good coach. Knox…made us respectable. Holmgren…made this a destination place and almost won it. Carroll…win every year and a SB. Get the guillotine.
