Nothing against Nate Boyer or the military at all, but this is just more of the NFL's pandering like all of the pink in October.
True.

Agree too that ML should be held for a much more momentous game.

The NFL does not choose who raises the Seahawks 12 Flag.

I'm aware of that, but they probably had something to do with the choice

The NFL quite obviously markets itself to the Military. They even (go figure) get paid millions in (go figure) taxpayer money for doing so.

It's a reasonable/ clever/popular enough choice to have Boyer cater to this. He actually is pretty cool and even has SH ties.

I doubt the NFL had anything at all with who the Seahawks choose. 12th Man flag raiser is probably close to the bottom of the laundry list of worries they have.

Now the Seahawks organization probably thought since its Salute to Troops month, thought it'd be a good idea seeing as Seattle is away next week on Veterans Day weekend.

I'm good with Nate. Save Lynch for the NFCCG.

I'd be pumped with Lynch raising it for the NFCCG, but hasn't it been traditionally Paul Allen each time?

I'll go with Matt Hasellback. Lynch will raise it at some point, I'd save Marshawn for a bigger game, most likely a playoff game.
