Gruden on Hawks Rams matchup

Gruden. A legend ...that was cool. His talk is full of risky language. I sincerely doubt he is a racist having worked in pro sports. I mean, does he look or sound stupid? Work product is evidence. It was the wrong time to make judgement errors. As a headcoach, he wasn't doing much with the Raiders.
Gruden did mention our turnover differential. I chock that up to an all new offense. It is a major area of concern.

I posted this in a different thread, but it bears repeating. It is really just 6 turnovers (3 interceptions and 3 fumbles) when the game is still up for grabs, and we aren’t getting “cute” (pitchout with Milroe, and Kupp throwing interception).

Still needs cleaning up, but it’s a significantly better look than it would seem from just looking at the raw turnover stats.

To be fair, we typically protect the ball when it matters, and we have played 5 of the top 11 teams in turnover margin (in a couple of weeks it will be 7 of the top 11).

Many of the turnovers have come due to mental lapses either during garbage time, or by getting cute when the game was still close, and there was no need to get cute.

We have had 9 turnovers when the game was still up for grabs, two of which were "cute plays," and one of which was the Bryant fumble when he was running back his interception. We had 7 turnovers when the game was well in hand.

Cut out the cute plays, and ignore the fumble on the interception return, and it's 3 interceptions, and 3 fumbles, while the game was still close.

We do need to clean that up, but as long as we don't get cute, I think we are good.

Dint watch the whole thing. But did he mention:

1. Ernest Jones and Cooper Kupp, both former Rams are Captains for this contest? Both looking for revenge even though you had to read between the lines in Kupp's commentary.

2. Jayden Daniels, elbow and Zay Jones achilles both out indefinitely with injuries vs Seahawks last 2 games. (no cheap shots)

Seahawks play violent football.

Supposedly the Gruden emails were racist, mysogynistic, and homophobic...and there were too many of them for it to be a simple mistake or misunderstanding. Great analyst, a sometime good coach, but a terrible potential future face for a franchise. He did some low level work in the NFL a while back but regardless of what happens with the lawsuit he's not going to get another high profile NFL job.

I miss Gruden. I don't recall all the details but he said some shit he shouldn't have. We all have in life. And he's been a NFL Pariah ever since. Doesn't seem right to me. Bring him back. He was a fantastic color analyst and a great football mind.

It was pretty tame, and it was in a private email. The NFL is getting taken to the woodshed legally over it and I'm all for it. Gruden is a good guy everyone that ever played for him loved him.

If memory serves the Emails were back and forth with the Redskins, talk about irony if my memory is correct, Allen who was the defacto President and GM there is a piece of crap period, remember he threw Zorn to the wolves also and hamstrung him there. Throw Snyder into the mix and yes it was a cesspool of racist, mysogynistic, and homophobic type culture, oh they also knee capped Scot McCloughan, yes he had an alcohol problem, Redskins took it upon them selves to publicly use it to avoid paying his salary owed. The language and references were directed at Goodell and NFLPA President then Smith. Where wrong I can see these guys using slurs against people that cause them problems, especially in private emails.
