Once a unit builds a few small wins on top of each other and identifies a weakness that they can exploit or a strength that they can feature, other opportunities start to open up. The offense starts moving to a beat, like a boxer in a groove varying his punches. Hit 'em where it hurts, wait for them to react, hit 'em in the opening you created, so on so forth.
There are two sides to that coin, though. Successes and failures on offense are like amoebas. They multiply. Both sides of that coin have come up for the offense today.
