Seahawks tight end Greg Olsen has his post-football job lined up.

Olsen has signed with FOX to work as a color commentator during games whenever his NFL career ends, according to the New York Post. If Olsen retires after this year he’ll pair with Kevin Burkhardt as the network’s No. 2 team in the 2021 season, but if Olsen decides to keep playing in 2021 or beyond, FOX is willing to wait for him.

Olsen and Burkhardt worked together in the XFL booth this year, and FOX likes their chemistry enough that the network wants to pair them in the NFL, whenever Olsen is ready to move from the field to the booth.

Old man Olsen needs to leave NOW!!

Anyone honestly believe this guy will contribute anything?

Seattle likes Dissly and will play Dissly if he is healthy but Olsen really? No one in the draft they would have liked?

Really? Olsen.

IMO, he won't do anything (very Brandon Marshall like).

Slightly aggressive....

Yeah they liked someone in the draft, Colby Parkinson, he's injured now. Dissky has looked great to, when he isn't injured. Maybe we should hang on to as many guys as we can until cut down time?

Lol.

I forgot about Parkinson.

He kind of looks like TE/WR version of Trevor Lawrence, lol.

Hopefully, Parkinson is good!

He looks more like a surfer though!

Surfs up, duuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Parkinson will be good. When he heals. He needs Greg Olsen to help him with the mental side of the game. I believe that's a huge part of why Pete & John brought Olsen here, to mentor the young guys. Olsen is QB-level-savvy in terms of his understanding of the nuances of the game, so he will be a great security blanket for Russell, and help all the other TE guys with their game. Fox has cast their vote on Olsen also, for his knowledge of, and ability to communicate about, the NFL game. My bet is that we get a dozen or more good, healthy games out of Olsen this season (assuming 16 games) and that he is a key player in several wins.

Dissly is a stud.

He has also played in 10 out of 32 possible regular season games and 0 out of 3 possible playoff games.

With Parkinson hurt now, the more TE depth the better. Hollister is decent but not super exciting, and we all know what we have with Willson.

I think Olsen has one more decent season left in him, if he can stay healthy... and I know they signed him largely because Russ wanted him.
