Jordan will be a Restricted Free Agent.
Ah, I wasn't sure of his status. Looks like a keeper, TBS, so I hope they tender him, at least.

“We’ve got this guy, if we can get him to unleash his potential, he’ll probably be one of the best things to happen to the NFL,” Cable said.

“Who is it?” Azim asked.

“His name is Marshawn,” Cable responded.

Yea, I thought it was interesting that Marshawn was the one who suggested that Dion go to Seattle because of the staff and support that players get here. I (and I think may of us) kind of assumed that he left with a bad taste in his mouth about our staff.

Great story J..

Nice to hear something positive about the staff, as well. Might not always do the right thing, but it's not because their heart isnt in it.

Marshawn and Cable were pretty close.

Always root for people working hard to beat their demons and become better human beings. I hope he remains a Seahawk but if not, good luck wherever he goes.

This is a true second chance story. Hopefully he continues to perform and discovers his true potential, either with Seattle or another team.

We invested so much time into him so we deserve the right to see him flourish. He, Maxwell,Mcdougale and Coleman have been great.

^^ The Dolphins deserved to see him flourish more

I love this story. For those willing to read every line, word for word...it's an eye opener or a reminder..depending on your perspective, on what true support and humanity looks like. Hearing about what Cable's son did especially, was heart warming

Speaking of Cable, as much as we criticize him, and I know it's a business...I now understand more why the team insists on keeping him. I sometimes wonder with Cable, is it his coaching or the talent he's been handed/conversions he's been asked to take on

Not really. Other than the owner, it appears the Dolphins said good riddance.

I have no doubt there is a great deal more going on behind the scenes than we are privy too. The linked story strongly fits Pete Carroll's life mission, the mission of his assistants, and the mission of everyone who has bought in to his program.

As others stated he and Cable were super tight. He still promotes Cable for HC. It was even rumored/assumed he'd come out to play for Cable had he gotten a HC gig.

As far as bad blood, he was up here hanging out at VMAC getting his paperwork figured out. Carroll even was seen joking and hiring around with him in the pregame of the preseason game.

I think it was just something that had run its course.

And we didn't really want to pay him.
