^ I wanted him in sooner this season ; but now makes more sense to use him post season ...not much pro film on him to prepare for . if the Hawks let him play... he will perform . Ursua and Homer were my favorite picks the Hawks made in last draft. IMO

Seems funny he could play yesterday, but today we get notice he is suspended. That kinda sounds like it might be from something the league has just been taking their time on to make a ruling. Until we at least have substance identification it's impossible to reach anything like an informed conclusion.
Sure hate to lose the services of that talent level though. Seemed like he was just on the verge of breaking out big time.

I believe the category it falls under is now performance enhancing or abuse.

I will disagree. No other players I've seen are listed as both until now and that includes Irvin when he was busted.

I gotta think this is about something other than weed. If it's for weed it's high degree overkill. Wouldn't surprise me if at least 30-40% of players use weed now and then. Maybe more. Performance enhancing sounds more like roids or something serious.

The original announcement was "indefinite" which sounds kind of ominous. Since he's had multiples, you have to assume several games, at least, for investigations. I figure he's done for the season and as such, the playoffs, too.

I don't expect J&S to renew him. Love the talent, but it seems he's unable to manage his addiction. Having fought with some of my own, I feel empathy for the guy, but little sympathy for giving him second chance number 6.

You know, the legendary Josh Gordon. He's played in a whole 59 NFL games over 8 seasons. He's around almost like half the time. Perfect for coaching.

Has that been confirmed? I read somewhere that the Patsies knew something was coming when they unloaded him.

I'm waiting for some confirming information. I feel for the kid, but jeeze, you'd think by now he'd get the message. I've dealt with those demons a bit, so I know somewhat where he's at. It just sucks though that someone with his skills can's control that particular demon.

Not just Gordon man (even though his pathetic catch total always seemed to be clutch 3rd down catches minus the bomb yesterday), i'm talking about the injuries mounting up. Look at how beat up this team is, Penny, Diggs, Clowney, Ziggy, Wagner, Shaq, Luke Willson, Dissly, Ed Dickson, Britt, Thorpe, etc,,,. That week 17 game against SF is going to be for all the marbles and I dont think we'll be healthy enough to beat them.

Most of those guys have a good chance to be back for week 17 or playoffs, so no still.

They beat the Saints too who we were unable to beat. Maybe its just them.

Everyone knows weed is a performance enhancing drug. We make sure all our heavy equipment operators smoke it constantly before, during and after the job. Makes it way more exciting, keeps us on our toes .....and all the other appendages strewn around the job site.
