STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:

Josh Gordon of the Seattle Seahawks has been suspended indefinitely without pay for violating the NFL policies on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse.

I heard the same thing. No appeal opportunity. Figured it would happen soon or later.

If you never try, you never know. Glad they took their shot, but unfortunately I can’t say I’m surprised by this result.

I really hope this guy gets help. He had potential to be an all time great.. It sucks this is where he keeps ending up.

As most have said, it's not a real shocker. His history shows it's just a matter of time, but we got some good use out of him while we had him and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. He was never a major part of the game plan, so it shouldn't be that difficult to plug and play with what we have. This just makes me happier that Lockett seems back to his old self. Him and DK along with Hollister should be able to hanlde the brunt of the receiving.

Guess we know why he wasnt being utilized as much as we wanted to see. Either way it sucks as he could of been a threat in the playoffs. Instead he will be hanging out at Justin Blackmons house drinking cough syrup with Jamarcus Russell and friends.
