Yep, no matter what happens tonight, what an incredible season. To say they exceeded expectations would be a massive understatement.

They absolutely can do this tonight. Won a game 7 against the champs in their house, do the same thing tonight! ALL the pressure is on Dallas.

The Kraken have already shown they're up to the challenge of a game 7.

Just like the Avs game 7, all the pressure's on Dallas, so I expect a fast, loose and tough Kraken lineup to come out and play well tonight.

Just imagine all the loud grumbling sure to be heard among NHL fans across the country if Kraken win tonight: No fair! Both teams in the WCF are expansion teams!

Not sure how much logic this makes considering how bad the Kraken were last year, getting MUCH worse expansion draft rules than the Knights got.

Exactly. They'll still grumble.

I think the general consensus from the national hockey media and fans is that the Kraken are playing over their heads, and in an unconventional style that goes against the normal top 1-2 lines built with stars, etc style of roster building.

But that's literally WHY they're winning and have gone as far in the playoffs as they have, teams don't know how to defend them. They're a matchup nightmare because all 3-4 of their lines have produced. What, like 18 different players have scored in the playoffs?

That's nuts.

The media has def. changed their tune. I watch a lot of the pre and post game stuff every game. MOST of them are just really impressed with the Kraken and their depth at this point. Some even say they are a legit contender to make the Finals.
