Watch it be a classic, NFC West, 9-3 slugfest.
The Bears played clock and strategy perfectly. Had they scored from the 2 yd line they would have won by...3 points. Had they gone for it on 4th and 7 or whatever it was and failed they would have trailed by an unsurmountable score.@TwistedHusky , you called it.
You said that them settling for that FG would've come back to bite them and it did.
Well I did complain that they should've ran it down their throats from the 2-yard line earlier. There's a post I made, I think. The Bears played clock and strategy perfectly. Had they scored from the 2 yd line they would have won by...3 points. Had they gone for it on 4th and 7 or whatever it was and failed they would have trailed by an unsurmountable score.
Their problem was failing to score when at the goal line.
Yes they did. BUT they have been doing that all this year, so I'm inclined to think they are somehow making their own luck. And I think that somehow is their head coach and a guy named McCaffery. If it weren't for those two Purdy would be playing in Canada or coaching some high school in Iowa. And he would be doing it well! And with all of that, Niners got lucky.
In that drive you had two easy catches dropped. That's why you just had one play to get in. I was very impressed with Caleb, but as Collinsworth said, he throws some incredibly bad passes when people are open, and you can't do that as often as he does, and win championships. I think he'll figure it out.It was at the 2.
You RUN THAT F***ING BALL down their throats there. bah.
Exactly. Any given Sunday (or Monday). If the Browns can beat the Steelers, anything can happen...except the Raiders being anybody. Not like we havn't gotten lucky in a number of wins this year. Particularly against the Steelers, Cards (first game), and Rams (second game).
