They don't get open even when they do have the time. And one thing we don't have a lot of (and DEFINITELY won't once Rice gets ridden on a rail by the 12th like they're threatening) is height.

Nicks is the sort of receiver who might be completely wasted on the Seahawks. Until we're a conventional pocket passing team, with time to wait for routes to develop, a down-field guy like Nicks probably wouldn't add much.

What type of receiver is good for the Seahawks? A squirrely playmaker. Percy Harvin may be as good as it gets.
