Geno Raiders contract extension

I'm still not seeing this reported anywhere.

Looking for it on Raiders boards though, they're already in cope mode and pushing that whole Geno is like seven years younger than he is because he spent time as a backup so "wear and tear" BS that I've seen so many times from Hawks fans. People are scared to put rookie QBs behind bad lines because they don't want them to get "ruined". Well, is it any better for "aging" when a QB gets blasted repeatedly behind a bad line in his 30s?

It’s mostly hearsay from beat writers and local sports folk in the LV circles. Those are the rumblings they’re hearing regarding it but nothing official as of now.

Purely speculation on my part, but I think Geno doesn't just want an extension; he wants his current deal to be torn up. He wants a raise this year. That would make the $200M amount more reasonable, as they wouldn't be making as long of a commitment, it would really be a 4 year extension with the 2025 salary increased.
