His knee was obvious, and there's something wrong with his shoulder or arm, don't know which, but he didn't have any strength. I think his ribs might be hurting too, he seemed really stiff. Looks like that prefer a wounded Geno over an as yet unproven QB

Dude has been taking a bearing with Grubbs stoopid offense. They're in the red zone, they're looking out on the ground, so throw the ball? What The Fruitcake?

I know he's got the bad knee but his decision making and inability to see downfield was alarming. For example on that first drive when he almost got picked going to Lockett it sure looked like he had JSN open but he was going to Lockett all the way.

it was concerning to me cause compared to previous games he had time today.

I quite honestly don’t think Geno understands wtf is going on (processing fast enough) but and reverts to the easy shit.. but the easy shit isn’t working anymore. Grubbs plays imo could be too complicated for Geno.. Genos making a metric ton of mental mistakes that look like someone unfamiliar with what they should be doing and being safe than someone how has the confidence and know all the playbook in it’s entirety.

His shoulder and knee okay sure, but he’s definitely mentally not locked in somewhere

He did look beat up. Shame we needed this victory so badly, or he could have gotten healthier for the Rams game.
From that point of view nice to have the mini-bye in case that game means something

I think he's beat up both mentally and physically.

And, yet again, I put it on Grubb.

Our offense needed to account for the fact that our Oline is shit (AND JS needs to realize this NOW, or hit the door). Instead we've done the exact opposite.

We needed the vast majority of our calls to be outside shovel passes, RB screens, Bubble screens, jet sweeps, quick 3 level crossing/underneath routes for WR1, WR2 and Slot.

QUICK QUICK QUICK Developing stuff that's easy to execute. And, oh yea, run the damn ball.

Instead we got Geno taking a ******* beating on misguided long developing plays. He's regressed this year. Big time. Difference? Grubb vs. Waldron. Oline didn't get dramatically worse or better.

He can't read down the field. So engineer it so that he doesn't have to. Don't call ANY plays that take 4,5,6,7 seconds to develop. We don't have the protection for it.

After his tenure - I've just come to realize: Geno's a decent backup QB. That's about it. Put a bad coach and a bad line on top of that, and you've got - well - exactly what we've got now.

Honestly think that JS and Grubb need to go. Geno needs to lose the starting spot and we need someone else in there next season with Geno demoted to backup. What we DON'T need to do is extend him with some 65MM contract or some shit. That would be stupid.

Dude seriously needs to be wearing prescription glasses out there..he can't see beyond 2-3 yards. Every 10 throws, he might get lucky and connect with somebody.

There was some reason why Grubb stuck with the run game to a fault, even though he has NEVER done that before. Geno did his best to make sure he threw a pick (hit a defender right in the chest early) but through no fault of his own failed at that. I couldn't believe what I was seeing from the OC in the way of play calling last night.
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try it again.
What is it about "balance" that is so hard to understand?

Years more Grubb to come, learn to enjoy.
