While having a lot of passing yards is great I think it’s a bit of a trap stat. Like, if you threw for 4000 yards but had 500 attempts and 20TD/20INT, is it really that impressive?

All it means is you threw a lot and nothing really to show for it.

And once again Joe Burrow has his team at 4-7 and fighting to avoid a losing season…
Two games vs. the Ravens he had 9/1 TD/int and lost both games.

They lost both of those games by a combined 4 points. Remember what the Ravens did to Seattle the last time they played?

Seriously, if you look at the Bengals season, their only bad loss was week 1 to the Patriots. Any of the other losses were by teams that were expected to beat them. Washignton might be on the line, but they were rolling at the time. They aren't nearly as bad as their record indicates.

It kind of works against the arguments used to show how great Geno is. Burrow is in a situation where he should be struggling yet he is putting up monster numbers across the board. He's a special talent so its not totally fair either.

Geno tied with Sam Darnold for most red zone interceptions: 4. Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones are next with 3.

TDs as percent of attempts, Geno is 30th at 3%.
This tells me Seattles run game isn’t good enough.

Stats between the 20s doesn't make someone a great QB. Burrow is light years better than gePICK.
