The worst of Metcalf's issues is that neither he nor Geno are making any kind of attempt to start singing from the same page of music, at least not from what we've seen on the field. After the interception in the Niners game, rather than get together and discuss what went wrong, they went their separate ways and sulked. IMO neither one of those guys are team leaders.

They're certainly not acting like leaders, judging from BOTH of them pouting on the sidelines. Suck it up boys.
Yeah, and the back-up QB was the one that went over and talked to Metcalf while the starter was busy spiking his tablet computer. If nothing else, it's a really bad look.

I wanted to believe in Geno. Seriously. I just have minimal confidence in him when it comes to close games and/or big games.
And it certainly doesn't help that he works behind that o line. Stone might be the worst O Lineman in the NFL.

I'm just the opposite. I have a personal dislike of Geno and regard him as a bit of an A-hole. I didn't like his behavior during his DUI arrest, and I don't like the fact that he basically called his former coaches racists because he didn't get a second chance at as a starting QB until late in his career. I think we saw some of that A-hole on the sidelines last Thursday. I have to force myself to set aside my personal opinion of him and be objective, looking at just his play on the field.

The worst of the OL is in the interior, specifically Anthony Bradford. He's horrible at pass blocking, and when pressure comes from the middle, it takes away the ability of a QB to step up into the pocket and give himself a run/pass option and a wide field. It's a little easier to deal with a pass rush from the edge. Top that off with an inept running game and it makes Geno's job that much more difficult. Geno's not Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, or Josh Allen. He's going to need more support than those guys if he/we are to be successful.

That makes me think Genos ints would go down if we traded DK. DK has his own turnover problem. Let's trade him to Denver or something, for a defensive player and at least a one. We are the worst turnover team in the league.

More likely they'd go up, and/or his completions go down, because the team has one less special athlete and 100-yard receiver to deal with.

Here's DK taking responsibility for the interception, and earlier, Geno took responsibility for it.

Both guys acting professional. They're a bit passionate on the sidelines, yeah...maybe they just want to win. I know what it looks like when players have a me-first attitude and just want more touches for their own image. This ain't it.
