I remember shortly after the draft, some predicted Jennings will have a better rookie year and career than DK.

I'll admit it. I'll eat my crow. Oh well, I still think Brown or Moore should've been let go instead. Danny and Gallant brought up Moore this morning. They basically asked what can he do except run go routes. That's a good question.

Well, last week he caught a couple of crossing patterns for first downs. A couple weeks ago he caught a quick hitter, made a nice run after the catch and scored. I don't even remember him catching any go balls this year. He definitively seemed to do only that last year.

I think the biggest surprise about Jennings is that he even made the team. He did nothing in preseason to warrant a roster spot.

I agree with the overall sentiment -- that the fact that Turner/Brown/Moore are kept around tells us what they really think about Jennings.

The team may have been better off in keeping Jazz Ferguson.

Jennings had a few flashes of talent in practice but was injured early, but only enough to slow himself down, got behind, and could never catch up. He certainly looked like he had some potential skills coming out of college but never could master his playbook and and met his fate. The team was patient with him at significant opportunity cost.

if he clears waivers the team might not take another chance with him, as they have seen what he can and can't do.

WOW! Jazz Ferguson. There's a name I haven't heard in a while. I guess he never blew up the league like a lot of fans were claiming he would. I guess that's why we aren't making personnel decisions.

Think Jazz is available to anyone that wants him. So probably not an answer.

Doesn't appear he's been claimed yet. News in this area is usually quite slow.

I would have kept Jennings and let go of David Moore. Moore started out great at first, but I have not seen him develop into anything special. Just a guy. He does not get much separation.

I'd much rather keep Moore than Jaron Brown. He's done virtually nothing for 3 weeks. At least Moore is doing something and has room to grow. Brown is a known quantity with a low ceiling.

jeron Brown should never have even made the team, much less taking up a roster spot in week 9

Wishing him well. Probably a clearer path to playing time there than there is here.

Who have they released that you would have preferred that they kept?

I had big hopes for Jazz, now Turd, Ferguson. Great combine, 6'5" 4.45 Forty, 37" Vert. But there's a reason he was projected to the 5th-6th round. And why he's not playing. Too bad.

With Gary Jennings history, I thought he would be a lock. But maybe the NFL is too big, and too fast for him.

Combine: https://www.nfl.com/prospects/gary-jenn ... 518b10747e

2018 he had 13 TDs for West Virginia

A great article on Seattle's 4th round pick:

4 reasons the Seahawks’ Gary Jennings Jr. could be one of the draft’s best receiver picks

4. The combine raised one question about his skill set, but his game film says not to worry.

Does he have the agility to beat NFL defensive backs regularly?

What's the reason?

I have to admit that I am not all that familiar with his game.

Damn another 4th round WR that had no impact. Maybe time to just skip the position all together in that round?

It's pretty wild that those 4th round WRs just don't pan out.

Their sweet spot is certainly that late 2/early 3 range - Golden, Lockett and DK.

Or UDFA in Kearse and Baldwin.
