I feel the same or they need to keep the 14/16/17 and future 18 game records all
separate.
Some on here try to say it doesn't matter, who cares or squint their eyes shut on it
but to the player, I'd think it matters.

If a guy breaks the sack record by 1, but had an extra game or two that matters

When a guy can run for over 120 yards per game, that matters too.

One big example I used was OJs 14 game season rushing record, that stood
for many years even after 1977 when they went to 16 games.
It took the whole 16 games for Dickerson to break a 14-game record.
I totally disliked Simpson as a man, but that Bills team worked hard to help
him have that great season and for one on here, I won't rehash it with his
name but he called it an "illusion".
Anyway, I'm done with it for now but nice to see at least a couple get this.

My son and I watched the last quarter of that game hoping that Garrett would get the sack.
We both figured that Burrows went down awfully easy BUT...we both loved that Miles got the sack.
