I was 14 and vaguely remember watching it with my grandmother who was a huge Hawks fan (owe it to her to really becoming a fan as the rest of my family really wasn't into sports.)

I acquired a recording of that game and when I watched it, it brought back memories. That game, the Hawks overcame some late game adversity to pull it out.

Pretty sure this is the fist time we are actually FAVORED in a road playoff game...

I was 8 and that game is among my first memories of the Hawks, very vague. I was hooked after that though.

I was a week short of my 7th birthday and didn't really follow the Seahawks at the time since I was in the middle of my family's one-year exile in Texas.

I remember it vividly and I was only 1 at the time.

Another parallel to the 2005 season!

After that season, it was big news that we hadn't won a playoff game since 1984. Then we went on to beat the Redskins to break that streak.

Now to point out it's been since 83 since we won a road playoff game. Now it's time to face the Redskins and break THAT streak.

I was only 11 that year, but still a Seahawk fan. I remember getting knocked out of the AFC championship game by the Raiders, and it was an ugly loss.

Man, I used to hate the Raiders.

I was 11. Loved that game, mostly because my Pops was so excited.

How many around here were alive then or remember it. I was both.
I was 16 and remember that game well. Greatest Seahawk moment before 2005.

I was 3.5 years old and don't remember it at all, but my parents aren't really sports fans too much. My dad used to go to Hawks games with friends when I was a kid though. He is really starting to come around now though and loves RW.

I was in high school and in first period auto shop my teacher would go nuts over the Seahawk success that year. We spent a good 20 minutes on Monday talking about it and on Monday nights (advanced auto shop) he would have every game on. In 84 he just plain lost it. Those were fun teams, looking back, they were still such a young team and they were dangerous.

I wasn't alive, but my dad had apparently just jammed my mom a couple months earlier.

I've seen pictures of your mom back then. Hard to blame him.
