He had a few nice runs when the defense was worn down, was largely nonexistent when the game was still in doubt (4 carries for 10 yards I think), and also was very tentative in hitting some other holes, resulting in minimal gain. I'm still not seeing it but he's the only back we've got so we'll just have to deal with it.

Yeah, Alex Collins goes to the Ravens and gets over 80 yards a game.....I'm not buying it's our backs. Cable is untouchable for some reason.

The Seahawks switched to man-blocking in the 4th (Collinsworth) was pointing this out, and both Lacy and the line seemed to respond positively. It could be that the inexperienced line is struggling with zone blocking (i.e. looking around for their assignment) and much better if just told to pancake a guy.

Carson had a few nice runs game 2 when the defense was worn down. It's why you run the ball eary..... so you can hash them late. Give Eddie credit. Also notice the defense biting on the play action when he was in?

Lacy had 11 carries for 52 yards against Colts. Many of those came in garbage time when the Seahawks were running the ball often to milk the clock. Therefore they were meaningful carries as the Colts were expecting them to run. Lacy's best game as a Seahawk so far.

Lacy played well! He helped close out the game, which is great. There was one run in particular where he burst through the line for a long run where he looked fantastic. With Carson sadly out, I think Rawls, Lacy, and McKissic are active until Prosise gets healthy, when he would likely replace McKissic.
