Not only did he let Sam walk out the door, he also blew re signing Jones. The guy had two legit QBs, and lost them both and took a glorified safety in the top 10 to play QB.

Well considering Lynch is the GM and he has worked under Maraathe before and will be mostly involved with cap management it's kind of a non issue? But yeah, kind of blew his GM opportunity in Minnesota and obviously did a poor job. He's worked for the 49ers before for 6 years.
