Man, I can't wait for the season to start. On paper, we look unbeatable. Good stuff, and obviously I was pleased to see you pick us to win the division. Question for you - what NFC playoff seed do you see us having?

Thanks Em - I hope to see you on TV someday - breaking down pre-game matchups or something more than just the round table stuff they do right now.

I have limited bandwidth, so I was a little down on the length of the vid......

But great job, as usual! Well worth the time.

Thanks for all of your commentary about our 'Hawks and the NFL in general.

I'm at work and the internet here is less than decent, to put it mildly, so I'm currently letting the video load, but I'm glad to see this. Thanks Em for all the time you put into your videos on ours and every other team, you do fantastic work which I look forward to throughout the season and the off season.

Hmmm that's a good question. I would have to say somewhere btw 1-3

Thanks as always Em,

So what are the weaknesses of the 49ers that you feel put us over the top?

I think the questions about the receiving corps to start the season combined with their tough 1st QTR of the season was the deciding factor

Hey Switzerland, there's a big difference between a bye and no bye. Which one would you put your money on?

Isn't "2" the only number BETWEEN 1 and 3? :stirthepot:

nice!

Watching that video it finally just sunk in. I dunno why it hadn't yet but it just sorta finally sunk in.

Percy Freaking Harvin on this offense? GET OUT.

This season is going to be so freakin fun to watch.

Great stuff as always, Em. Much appreciated! You do an excellent job.

:th2thumbs:

A couple of notes:

1. For the LB corps, you mention concerns at the Will. KJ wright is actually sliding over there, so the bigger question for us now is who is going to be the starting Sam Week #1. If I had to guess right now, it will be Malcolm Smith. I think in a perfect world, they want Bruce Irvin to fill that role, but that's probably down range a bit - especially with him missing the first quarter of the season... Korey Toomer is another guy to keep an eye on.

2. Agreed on having a dynamic play maker, but they are hoping for big things from fifth round pick Luke Willson. According to John Schneider, he is the one player they didn't want to leave the draft without. I expect big things from him this season, especially with so much attention focused on stopping Wilson, Lynch, Harvin, Rice, Tate and Miller.

Interesting. I hadn't heard that little tidbit.

Umm, Greg.....do you know if Schneider said anything about us (ie our draft board) rating Willson higher than that other tight-end (Willson's teammate) that SanFran leapfrogged past us to grab during the draft? I remember hearing speculation that we "settled" for Willson after they did that. It WOULD be really nice if such was the case, and Willson really was the guy we wanted all along.

I suspect (reading between the lines) that Schneider really meant that tight-end was the one position group they didn't want to leave the draft without (as in without a promising prospect).
