Let me tell you this as I just got done re-watching that game.

Lockette made plays, and I mean including blocks, and a real nice catch where he bailed out Russ and went up and snagged a crucial pass.

Later, Barwin was giving Russ the business in a pile and Lockette basically pulled him off and shoved his ass outta there.

Dude is becoming a nice player. The flop was funny to me.

He was trying his best to offset his own penalty, but still . . . embarrassing. They showed this "highlight" a couple times later in the game.

lockette has been a great player but the flop was just sad. I'm a vehement defender of all the trash talking and swagger our team partakes in, but that kinda crap is lame and takes away from all of it.

I agree the flop was lame. After watching it again I thought he did it to make a point. Maybe he isn't this bright, but I thought he did it because he felt like the player he got penalized for blocking in the back "flopped" therefore drawing the penalty in the first place. Maybe not, but that was my thought after watching it.

Well......It made the "What's Trending" segment on NFL network and was first up on "C'Mon Man" on Monday Night Countdown.

I thought it was effing hilarious personally. Especially when they show the ejection in KC first then show him trying to flip the script. hahaha. Oh Lockette. You silly, silly gunner you.
