I'm sneaking in hours before the season starts. Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri and have never set foot in Washington let alone Seattle. A 1999 Monday Night Football game between Seattle and Green Bay sparked my interest in the Hawks and it somehow stuck. And no I am not a rams fan in disguise, but I know an awful lot about both them and the chiefs courtesy of my friends. Been checking this site pretty regularly over the past year and thought it was time to join. A little more info

Favorite All Time Hawk: Shaun Alexander
Offensive Player: Golden Tate (Only ND player I'll ever like)
Defensive Player: Bobby Wagner (the reason our defense rose to the top)
Non-Hawk: Larry Fitzgerald
2013/14 Record Prediction: 12-4

I'll also admit that I hated the move to draft Russ in the 3rd round and was even more upset when he was named the starter. Schneider and Carroll are smarter than me.

Go Hawks! :thirishdrinkers:
Bout time you made it over from the Blue
I did weeks ago. I was MizzouHawkGirl there. Anyway :2: Mizzou.

Welcome!

That game will forever have a special place in my heart. I had just started .NET the year before (actually it was first called Seahawks98.com, and then Seahawks99.com. Believe it or not, in 1999 Seahawks.NET was available as a domain and the rest is history) and I was generating enough readership to get advertisers interested. At the time, a travel group offered me tickets, airfare and hotel to the November 1st 1999 MNF game in Lambeau in exchange for advertising on Seahawks99.com.

A no-brainer.

I ended up going with about 30 other Seahawks fans, along with local (KJR) radio personalities and made it a weekend thing as it was Halloween weekend as well. We had such a ball. Partied hard and of course got the best thrill when the Seahawks beat the Packers going away. I'll never forget that trip as long as I live. What an incredible football town. Great fans (except for the one really drunk fat biker dude behind me at the game), best tailgating ever. It was my first away Seahawks game and what a game it was!

Welcome, fellow Tiger! Mizzou class of '97 here, J school. I spent a lot of time and had a lot of beers at the Blue Note, the Heidelberg, and Shakespeare's. Are those still around?
