Since we are intimately tied to the Broncos in regards to next April's first and second round draft selections I thought it would be fun to have a mirror thread to predict the Broncos final games. Here's my picks...

@ Panthers L
@ Ravens L
vs Chiefs L
vs Cardinals W
@ Rams L
@ Chiefs L
vs Chargers L

4-13. Seahawks get the 3rd overall pick in the draft.

I could see a panthers loss over a cards win. I don’t think The Broncs beat Kyler, Hopkins and Jj watt.

I can see them beating the Rams. As meh as the Chargers are this year due to injury, I still think Herbert beats Wilson.

2 wins at best...the Wilson destruction of this team will be complete....and a new coach is not going to change things next year..unless its Pete..

As poorly as Russell has played and as dysfunctional as their offense is, the Broncos have lost just one game by more than one score this season. Their defense is top notch and keeps them in games. Even if they don't improve, it's hard to see them losing out.

The Cards are definitely the weakest team left on their schedule, followed by the Panthers. I think they win 2 of their last 7 to finish 5-12, which should be good enough to get us a top 5 pick.

I can't image Broncos' defense stay great, not after staying on the field for extra minutes every game.

As amatter of purely academic interest and not at all related to the thread :p

What is the highest draft pick that the Superbowl champions have ever had?

What is the highest draft pick that the Superbowl champions have ever had?

The Redskins won the Superbowl in 1991 and had the 4th overall pick in the 1992 draft and they picked Desmond Howard.

I'm not sure if this is the absolute highest but its gotta be up there. This question is actually kind of hard to find out for some reason.

Edit*
Kinda off topic, but snooping around, I just noticed that in 1992, the Colts held both the #1 overall and #2 overall picks in the draft. And both picks didn't pan out. A team having both of those picks hasn't happened since.

I think their most hopium fueled results look like this below, ending in a 6-11 record.

@ Panthers W
@ Ravens L
vs Chiefs L
vs Cardinals W
@ Rams W
@ Chiefs L
vs Chargers L

I think more realistically something like they end up winning two more games, taking 2/3 between the Panthers/Cards/Rams. Final record prediction 5-12.

IDK I don't think Russel is completely done. I think they win 3 more, and perhaps next year he rights the ship. We still won the trade, but he may not be completely done performing.
