And you know that how? You've talked to all the seahawk fans? You guys had a conference call and voted to sh*t on your team?

You don't like my opinion, cool, but don't sit here and tell me I'm the only one who feels that way. Maybe you should read some comments on here a little closer.

And you're absolutely, folks have the right to be spoiled and entitled. I agree 💯.
You're doing the same thing that you are accusing me of. I'm not making excuses for anyone. Living here for the past 47 years, It's my opinion that Seattle is a fair weather fan city. It always has been. When their teams win, people show up. When they don't they don't. The Seahawks have struggled to win home games this season.

I disagree, it was not like that back in the day. And when i say in the day all the way through the 2000s, until the SB era. People were die hard mariners, sonics and seahawks fans win or lose. It didn't get like it is now until the last 10 years if that. Yes support/attendance at mariners games have dropped off, but that's not because of the team persay, that has more to do with frustration towards the owners.

I disagree and I have lived here since 1977 and been a Seahawk fan since. No one cared about the Ms until 1995 when they made the playoffs for the first time in history. Sonics were the hottest ticket until the early 80s once they started to lose and trade away their fan loved players like Shelton, DJ, Gus Williams, and Jack Sikma. They got a boost with Kemp and Payton but then lost it once Wally became the GM.

Bottom line Seattle fans are cheap. Maybe if they hate seeing/hearing more opposing fans they should buy the tickets up. They won't and would rather complain about it later.

Before prices get brought up, seems opponents fans don't have that issue and shell out the funds. If this is such a huge problem for Seattle fans, buy the damn tickets, or shut up [lol].

I'm not surprised that there were lots of Packers fans at the game. The Packers fan base has a big presence here. There was a bar on the eastside (Kirkland) that was a Packer bar. It had more Packer memorabilia than Seattle sports stuff. It used to be called Sluggers.

Wow, so disturbing to read how so many "fans" only want to support a winning team. To me, only fans that endure the bad years can truly enjoy the good years. And a winning record isn't good enough for some of you? It's championship or bust? You might as well jump on the bandwagon for whatever the team of the year is.

And yet you guys notice that the 12th Man always seems to travel well to other stadiums, too, but never make the connection...

This year, I made the trip over from Montana for Giants, Bills, Niners, Rams, and Packers. It's not easy to lay out that kind of time for the product this team is putting on the field. From my perception, the people who complain about STH behavior mostly aren't people who have dealt with the realities of actually holding season tickets.

We all think we are going to make every game, until the reality of scheduling life around the team schedule hits.

I have to come to the realization that it may never again be in my lifetime what it was in the Golden Era of our Championship and LOB years when we were the best team in the NFL not named the Patriots. It's easy to support a winner. Games become THE place to be, knowing with 99% certainty that you will go home happy.

Of course we diehards will always support our team in our own ways, when times get tough. But it's completely unrealistic to expect the 12s to "hold the fort down" during the building and lean years when it's that much easier for opposing team fans to come to the games and take over due to the product on the field (or lackthereof).

Having been a season ticket holder since 1997, I've seen mostly a dominant home crowd where the screams are deafening. Many a gameday I would go home with ringing ears and a very tired and dry throat where I could barely speak. But even then, the amount of away team fans was always predicated on how well the team was doing. Still, yes, the Packers fans ALWAYS travel well. The team's fans that travel the best - regardless of how well we are doing - are the Packers and 9ers fans. There's others too, but those stand out to me.

Winning cures this stuff. Instead of a near 50% ratio, it bumps back down to the normal 15-20% when the Seahawks are kicking ass. It just is the nature of the beast. We don't have to like it, but nothing changes until the team takes to the skies and flies to the top of the NFL.

Now that I've moved away, I don't get to see more than maybe 1 game a year. I'm okay with that because I feel like I got to live through the absolute Golden Era, and after February 2nd, 2014, I will be forever satiated in that regard until my last breath.

One bad loss against a great team is not going to suddenly sour me on my convictions that this team is still building something special with Mike. I can feel it, even after a stinker. I look forward to seeing the next cycle of change and happy days again on a more regular basis, including winning all or most of our home games.

As much as fans can be blamed, a lot of tickets are essentially owned by ticket brokers who's whole business plan is buying up lots of tickets and reselling. This will never really be rectified because NFL and Ticketmaster are in bed together.

This and the fact that fans of EVERY team are selling season passes. Haven't you noticed that the 12th always travels well? Someone's got to be putting those tickets up for sale.

This isn't just a Seahawks phenomenon.

If Smith can muster up some brain cells and quit throwing god damn picks in the god damn red zone, the opposing teams will keep their asses in their seats sucking their thumbs.

Okay, here's an idea for DK and whoever else on the team that doesn't like opposing team's fans in the stadium...pool some player money...buy some or all the available tickets and give them to "regular Joes" in Seattle, you know, some folks who can't really afford tickets...lol
