Seahawks will promote from within. Seto is my hunch with Richard the other option. I think the other may end up in ATL with Quinn as his DC.

How could anyone that manages people not see this happening?

Fangio is a successful DC.

In fact, he is phenomenal and in spite of all the injuries he manages to keep the defense afloat - a defense that over the past years has been one of the best.

His reward? Rumors that his underlings and peers will be promoted to be his boss. Why? Because he is too valuable as the DC to let go of. Didn't they refuse to give him permission when teams requested to interview him?

So not only are they milking him for success but they are also preventing him from advancing? Not a sure fire way to inspire loyalty.

You don't inspire loyalty by milking people or bleeding them dry, you do it by making sure they participate in the success they helped create.
